I think the problem with many web designers is to combine usability with design, in fact, rarely a site with a high design is also usable, and vice versa: rarely a usable website design has a "fine". It will be a site aesthetically nice, clean as code and as representation, but the designer can rarely indulge creating a usable site. What is usable is simple, and what is simple and aesthetically "neutral", even if it hits like it, but it does not meet fall in love ... The problem then comes down to this question: CSS or Flash?
